This past weekend we fished the Florida Bay area of the Gulf of Mexico to the north of Marathon. The waters were calm and the fishing was FUN!! On Sunday afternoon we had a crew from Western New York and caught plenty of snapper, yellow jacks and a wide variety of other fish including this 5 foot spinner shark.
Monday we fished with a local crew and targeted Mangrove Snapper. We fished up our limit including a couple of whoppers up to 20 inches. After a day of catching like this it is soooo satisfying to take the catch to Lazy Days where their chef cooked it up for us Lazy Days Style!!!
